Really didn’t like the Callaway FT-i driver at all. They give better feedback at impact than my Big Bertha Diablo 3 Wood which a great club in own right but it’s not a forgiving as the Squareways. With the deeper face you would think it might be difficult to hit off tight lies but it launches the ball without a problem off the fairway. I was looking for a new callaway 3 wood and I chose this on on ebay. It seems that you have to groove your swing perfectly to get decent results.

This Callaway FT-i Squareway has a little deeper face which makes it really comfortable to hit off the tee and is amazingly easyto hit off the deck.
My bad shot is a hook and the squareway helped a little with that but when i did hit a bad shot it would go bolf left and this happened a lot which is not what i bought it for,if i was having a bad day with the bigdog then i was planning to use the squareway instead.
I have more cocntrol with tis club and almost as much distance as my driver. Will be a massive boost to the weakest part of my game. Never hit the ball as far and straight as I do with this driver. The Callaway FT-i driver has had a lot of hype and rightly so as it was the first introduction of a new type of driver focussing on a high moment of inertia MOI to reduce twisting of the club head at impact, particularly on off-centre hits.
They are good on the fairways, some rough and the are sup er off the tee callaawy accuracy is at a must. With the deeper face you would think it might be difficult to hit off tight lies but it launches the ball without a problem off the fairway.
Well, the first hit was amazing – straight and long. The Club head looks very closed at address which i hated. Your email address You must enter a valid email address. Write a Review Thank you, your review has been submitted successfully and will be included on the page once approved.
I felt their price was a little sqare high for me at the time and ffti to pursue anothe r way to get my clubs. Magnet head covers are a bit heavy but nice to use easy open and easy insertion of club heads. However the greater moment of inertia does have its drawbacks.

Callaway FTi Squareway Fairway Wood Review | Equipment Reviews | Today’s Golfer
Pizza Box Scores I just started playing golf and I am near 60 years old. That is a memory a beginner golfer won’t forget for a long time. Can’t praise the Callaway FT-i high enough. The only way to miss the fairway or green with this club is to aim in the wrong direction.
Found it looked ugly at set up and I didn’t get any sweet strikes with it. Make sure you get the right set up for your swing, but once you have this the club performs. My whole game has been transformed – all down to one club. Please try again later! So, I’m not giving it back and recently bought another, just in case I ever break or lose one.
They play straight, long and very forgiving. I feel that at my age I will never have to buy another Fairway Wood as these clubs will last forever.
I have just used my new squareway 3 and 5 woods for the first time and all I can say is I can’t wait to go out and hit them again. Two of my golf mates have now bought them! Expect to see them in the shops early next year. What a fantastic driver the Callaway Ft-i is. Would definitely not invest in one. I wanted a real Callaway FT-i 3 wood and bought one on eBay.
Positioning weight in the extreme corners of the steel and carbon composite head creates enhanced stability at impact and longer distance. It put me right off before i even hit the thing.
We were cracking up with hang time running around 1onethousand 9 seconds. Golff this all seems a bit convoluted to us and better golfers should probably opt for a driver with a lower MOI of undersuch as the Callaway FT-5, to get the performance they need.
